Since our beginning, the Portage County Coalition for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention has been proud to serve the Portage County community. We’re committed to not only providing quality resources, events, and services, but going above and beyond to ensure our community is able to achieve a high level of well-being.

Our coalition has nearly 80 community members who work on making a difference in the area of alcohol and drug abuse prevention. As we work together, we hope to achieve long term cultural change that supports positive adult modeling and decreases the harmful effects of high risk drinking among our residents. The Coalition focuses extensively on community education and awareness; advocacy; community prevention strategies; and evaluation, data monitoring, and research.
